Black & white seascapes is a collection
of seascape photographs shot mainly
on cloudy or overcast days and often
including rock formations. I find that
“bad weather days” often lend
themselves to capturing some striking
black and white images.
Sea & rocks is a collection of seascapes
photography with prominent rock features. I
use long exposures in these images,
contrasting the soft flowing water with the
unmoving rocks.
Other seascapes is a collection of various
seascapes shot with a long exposure.
These abstract seascapes comprise my
impressionist , painterly-like images. These
are long-exposure images combined with
intentional camera movement during the
exposure. The results are very unpredictable.
Patterns and textures of sea and sand I’ve
discovered on my many walks along the
beaches of the Garden Route. I find the
interaction of water, sand and wind
constantly amazing.
